You also have to love yourself, nurture yourself and provide yourself with spiritual fulfillment. You have to take the time to search out that which fills your soul and inspires you. Maybe your thing isn't sitting at a church service every Sunday morning. That's fine! Maybe your thing is going out in nature and meditating, God is every where, not just in churches. God doesn't belong to a single religion, He belongs to every person on this planet. She is there waiting to love and nurture you and waiting for you to open your heart so you can feel Her.
Your path may not even have or feel a divine feminine aspect, that's fine. I think mothers are really important even if yours maybe wasn't perfect, but Goddess, along with God, can be the perfect parents you maybe never had. They can fill that void left if you will allow them. I've also heard, coming from a more Christian tradition, that the Holy Spirit can be seen as the divine feminine aspect in the religion. Bottom line, none of it matters, as long as you feel Spirit in your soul and you feed that Spirit with things that make your soul soar, and know you are so loved beyond your comprehension.
Sometimes people get mad at God. He's ok with that, he can handle that because there's nothing you can do to make God not love you. A piece of Him is inside of you, making up your life force, not loving you would be like God not loving Himself, that's impossible. Spirit is just waiting for you to accept this and allow it to unlock your greatest potential, for you to finally start to live your purpose. Some people get mad at God, they blame Him, resent Him or just don't understand the big picture. If you are mad at God, really ask yourself why. What is it you are really mad about? When you can pinpoint what's really bothering you, you can start to heal it.
Are you ashamed because you've turned your back on God for so long, thinking you knew better how to live you life without Him? Or maybe you just didn't want to "be good" so your pretended God wasn't there anymore? Forgive yourself and let Him in; He's already forgiven you. When you're done blaming God for the way you life has turned out, try instead asking for His help. He's already laid out a perfect life for you, it may not be easy to get back on track, but He can take care of the how if you are willing to do the work. Some people start the work and then backtrack, it's ok, just get back on track when you realize it. He won't give up on you, even if you never seek Him, when you die He'll heal the hurt of this life and dust you off and send you back to try again.
God wants us to be happy. Any loving religion will show you their proof of how and why God wants you to live a full, happy and prosperous life. But it starts with the spirit. You have to let go of the fear and trust God completely. You can to do the steps laid out here such as getting balanced, taking care of your body, forgiving yourself and others, meditating, praying and using conscious thought and actions. Happiness that lasts and cannot be hampered starts in the soul. When you can be so happy to just be alive, content at where you are in your life right now knowing and trusting every step is guided to a better, happier you, holding gratitude in your heart and just loving others, you know you've gotten it; then you just maintain it and keep growing.
Spirit healing starts when you let go of the noise and distractions of the world and know that right where you are God is, always. However you come to know Spirit was the right way for you. Purpose is in everything, consciousness helps you see that. When you've done your work and your soal is soaring, God will come in and let you know step by step what you need to do. When your life is guided in that way you have nothing to fear or worry about. I've talked about that before too. Allow your Spirit to heal so you can receive everything God is waiting to give to you. Please ask any questions you may have to feel free to share any experiences you may have had with healing your Spirit. Love and Blessings.
