7 Gifts from God - Love Part 4

The fourth part of the gift of love is charity. When we receive so graciously in our lives from the Source, it is a sign of our openness to receive God's love. When we continue to share the love we receive with others we keep the unconditional giving and receiving of love going. Giving and charity, remember, is anything above your tithe. The tithe goes to where you are spiritually fed, but charity and giving, can go to any where you feel led to give. There is a spiritual law that says you only get to keep what you give. When you begin to feel that in your soul and know its truth you'll fully understand this gift of love. 
When you give your time, separately from serving, you'll receive more time for the things you enjoy in return. When you give your love, you'll receive so much love, it will overflow in your life. When you share your happiness, so much more happiness will be shared with you. When you share your gratitude with the world, so much will be given to you to be grateful for and you will know how much people are grateful for you. What you share and give you get to keep since it will continuously return to you ten fold. When you give of you money, more money will be given to you. Joyous people continue to be joyous because they give so much joy to those they are around. 
When you hide this part of the gift of love from yourself and others you limit yourself and cannot truly enjoy the love and beauty this world wants to give you. You may think your time is too important, your love too precious, your happiness too personal, your gratitude your own, your money too little, or your joy too scarce; but you're wrong! If you feel that way its because you are not giving enough of those things in your life to others. The world and God need you to share those things, to shine your light, to give your time and talents and light into the world; that's how you become abundant in all things, including love. 
So donate some time to an organization you care about, donate some money to a good cause, share a smile with a stranger on the street. You can express your thankfulness to God by giving things you no longer use to those in need, take them to a place where they will be freely given to those in need, or as a last resort you can give it to a Good Will or Salvation Army. Recycling is a way to give back to the earth that feeds and nourishes our bodies. Sharing your joyous experiences with those who need some light in their lives might inspire them to spark their light. 
Freely expressing your love to someone you truly care about might be just the thing they need that day. Pick up the phone and call someone you love to just to tell them you love and appreciate them, or surprise them by sending them a card. Make real contact! Not just a text, email or Facebook message; give them your voice on the line, a physical letter to hold or give them something of special value and meaning to you. When you circulate and give of yourself and your possessions you may find that you can't give enough because you continue to receive more than you can give, but I think that's a great problem to have.
