Once you are awake and aware to your higher potential you start to see that you are internally guided. You know when you need to make a better decision, have a thought to solve a problem that you never thought before, directed to avoid certain people or circumstances, or you're told places you should or should not go. This is of course your intuition that comes from your higher self, from the place that is connected to the universal oneness or Spirit. It's the same guidance that will direct your path in life towards your highest good and life's purpose if you will follow and listen.
We all are born with the guidance of knowing right or wrong, sometimes we allow our minds and wants to become so loud that we ignore or no longer hear our internal guidance. When you see people acting out of fear, selfish intent or making hasty decisions, do not judge them, but send them love and blessings because they are lost and are not awake. When you stay conscious of what is going on in your life and choose to see the higher path you can no longer make decisions that are not healthy for you or other people. You will begin to think with your higher mind and take action from your heart and soul rather than a place of want or need.
When you are conscious of Spirit inside you and see Him working in your life you know that He provides all needs and can give you all wants, if they are coming from a higher place. This is not the goal or the aim of walking a spiritual path, but it is an added benefit of remaining faithful to your walk and seeking God first always, in all situations. He will make the path clear and all things needed will fall into place at the exact and perfect timing, divine timing.
When you live in this place you no longer have worries and can stay in a constant state of gratitude and love. If God provides ALL, what worry do you have? If you give God ALL, what do you have to fear? God will guide and take care of you for how could it be any other way? He can do this for everyone! And when you live in the higher consciousness you can see this potential for everyone. You will live in the awareness that everyone has that opportunity to reach out and find true happiness, contentment and inner peace.
I challenge you to start to hear and listen to that inner guidance. I am guilty of not always following it but when I don't, I always end up wishing I had. The perfect example is last night on my way home twice I was given guidance to take a path out of my normal route. Both times I decided why I did not need to go that way and made the more "logical" decision to stay my normal route. I ended up in stand still traffic because of road construction. The exit I needed to take was under construction and they had the next two exits blocked off so I had to go way out of my way and back track following detours to get where I needed to be.
Had I listened and taken the other highway when I was first told I would have gone right by it and understood why I was told to go that way. The second opportunity I had to take a different way through town, I don't like to go, so I didn't, but I would have happily made it home never knowing about the construction work. I saw this as an opportunity to recognize my inner guide and voice and listen the next time its telling me something. I did not get mad at the situation or beat myself up for not listen to my guidance, I stayed grateful for the fact that I have that inner guidance and used the extra time in my drive home to be open and talk to Spirit.
So again, I challenge you to do something out of your "norm" and follow that inner guidance and voice when you hear it. You may never know why you were guided that way or you may be shown immediately why you were guided, either way trust yourself and Spirit that you will be directed in the right path.
