7 Gifts from God - Power to Create Part 4

If you really want to up your creative power then you need to look at tithing. Many religions have some form of tithing. Tithing is 10% of your gross amount of money received. Edwene Gaines, a leader in the prosperity world, talks about the importance of tithing. There can be no compromising on your tithing if you want to be available for God to move and create in your life. It is a symbol of your trust in God in your life that regardless of your current situation, you know God can and will take care of you. So here's a little more on tithing to get you started on the right track.

Tithing is the first 10% of any monies you receive, whether that's your paycheck or a gift of money. When you are tithing from your paycheck you want to tithe on the gross amount, or the amount before insurances, taxes, 401k, etc. come out. It might seem hard or scary at first but push through and know God is bigger than your bills, your debts and your savings account. The fear is letting go of trusting yourself and putting your trust in something bigger than you. You have to believe and allow yourself to expand. If you've been following along on the 7 Gifts, then you know it's time to let go of any self limiting beliefs.

Don't compromise on your tithing, it's something you have to commit to and do faithfully. By faithfully tithing despite your thoughts or circumstances you are putting trust in God. If you don't want God to compromise on you, don't compromise on Him. You wouldn't want only part of your dreams to manifest, so don't give God only part of His dues. If you feel like it's "always one thing after another" eating up your funds and taking your paycheck it may be the universe saying "if you aren't going to tithe it then we'll just take it elsewhere". Stop the cycle and give God and tithing a chance at changing your situation. Try tithing on all the money you receive for just 6 months and see what happens.

So once you've decided to start tithing you should tithe to any where or anyone that gives you spiritual fulfillment. This can be a church, an organization that fills you spiritually or a person who gives your spiritual inspiration. Remember, this isn't giving, this is tithing; so giving to the homeless person on the street may make you feel good but if you aren't receiving spiritual inspiration from them it's giving, not tithing. I'm not saying giving isn't good, but that's different from tithing. Giving is an amazing way to allow God to work through you, but it's not tithing. Tithing is gratefully giving back to God for the gifts given to you; giving is anything after the tithe.

Give tithing a try and see if it doesn't up you creative power. Trust, have faith and push through. Give it an honest try for 6 months and see if changes start to happen in your life. Please share your experiences below! Love and blessings!
