7 Gifts from God - Time Part 4

Another aspect of the gift of time is the ability to get lost in it. That moment when you are so into whatever you are doing that you lose track of all time. This is a gift. To really be able to enjoy whatever experience you are in to its fullest that hours seem like minutes. This lets you know when you've found something you love and that Spirit is close by.

Our lives are made up experiences. Our lives are like giant books, but the story has already been written even if we can't see it. God knows what our stories hold and they are revealed to us slowly, day after day. Life unfolds all around us, and in many places our story is aligned with another's, even if for a brief moment.

Every moment and every experience has value. Whether it's just to show us how beautiful life is, or to guide or teach a lesson, or just to experience life. Each part is important and cannot be skipped. Our stories unfold in divine timing to help us form and remember who we really are and why we are here.

We are love, each of us is made up of cells that are infused and blessed by the mind of Spirit and essentially made of love. That's why we have such a strong reaction to it. But if we stop looking for love outside of ourselves and see that our entire being is made of love and love ourselves as such, life starts to become a beautiful unfoldment.

Experiences are blessings. In the loss of time when we are experiencing great joy or great love, we know this to be true. If we stop counting our blessings as stuff or people, and start counting our blessings as the experiences we have with the stuff or people we can start to see all of life in a new way. We can start to see more and more of the blessings that are always right there in front of us.

Many people are blessings in our lives, but what makes them that way? Normally it's something they did or said that makes them so special to you, THATS the blessing. Not just the person, but the experience you had with the person. That's the difference. That takes your gratitude to a much higher level and allows you to be open for more time and experiences that keep in you gratitude.

Think for a moment how wonderful a vacation could be if you stopped worrying about the time passing and just let yourself lose yourself in the experiences you were having while on vacation? Then to top it all off, what if instead of waiting until you were home and getting ready to get back to "life" to be grateful for the experience, what if you were grateful while you were on vacation?

What if every night of your vacation you counted at least three blessings from your day to be grateful for? What if you counted the times where you lost all track of time and got caught up in the joy of your experience or saw the beauty around you? What if you did this every night of your vacation? Well I think you would go to bed happy and grateful and I think you would wake up with a frame of mind to experience even more joy the next day.

So don't wait to appreciate the time you are given here. You can count your blessings every night and find a true appreciation of life. Even on your worse days if you stop worrying or thinking about it when you go to bed and instead try to find three blessings from your day to be thankful for, your can change your whole frame of mind, and probably sleep better.

God works so many blessings in our lives everyday. I encourage and challenge you to find at least three. Peace and blessings.
